Dedication and Grand Opening

Dedication and Grand Opening of the Jack C. Taylor Conference Center in Annapolis, MD on
Thursday, 30 September 2021 at eleven o’clock in the morning.

A luncheon reception will follow the ceremony.

All visitors must have a valid government-issued picture ID.

Directions for guests WITHOUT DoD Credentials:

  1. Directions to the U.S. Naval Academy/GATE 6:
    From Route 50, take exit 24 for Rowe Boulevard. Follow Rowe Boulevard to the second stoplight and turn left on Taylor Avenue. The road will form a T at Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. Take a right onto Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. At the first stoplight, turn right onto King George Street, followed by the first left possible at the Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium and arrive at Gate 6.
  2. Directions to the U.S. Naval Institute from Gate 6:
    After a security and vehicle check, proceed through Gate 6 and take a right onto Bowyer Road, followed by a left onto Pythian Road (immediately before the bridge). Drive up Pythian Road.

Directions for guests WITH DoD Credentials

  1. Directions to the U.S. Naval Academy/GATE 8:
    From Route 50, take exit 24 for Rowe Boulevard. Follow Rowe Boulevard to the second stoplight and turn left on Taylor Avenue. The road will form a T at Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. Take a right onto Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. At the second stoplight, turn right onto Bowyer Road and arrive at Gate 8.
  2. Directions to the U.S. Naval Institute from Gate 8:
    Proceed through Gate 8 and take a left onto Pythian Road (immediately before the bridge). Drive up Pythian Road.

Parking

Naval Institute staff and volunteers will be located along Pythian Road and will direct you to reserved parking located in close proximity to Beach Hall.
