Who can rent the Jack C. Taylor Conference Center?
Military and government individuals and organizations, corporations, nonprofits, and the general public can rent the Conference Center.
I have no affiliation with the military. Can I still rent your space? How many guests can the Center accommodate?
Absolutely! We welcome individuals and groups that do not have business or a connection with the U.S. military.
I am not a U.S. Naval Institute member. Can I still rent your space?
Yes! It is not a requirement to be a member of the U.S. Naval Institute to rent the Jack C. Taylor Conference Center. However, you and your guests and attendees would be eligible to receive complimentary one-year memberships to the Naval Institute as a benefit of hosting your event at the Conference Center.
What types of events can be held at the Jack C. Taylor Conference Center?
Examples of professional events include all-day or multiple-day conferences, lectures, workshops, wargaming training exercises, executive meetings, corporate cocktail receptions, and fundraising galas. Personal social events may include wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, promotion and retirement ceremonies and receptions, class reunions, and memorials.
Where is the Jack C. Taylor Conference Center located?
The Jack C. Taylor Conference Center at the U.S. Naval Institute is located in historic Annapolis on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy. The physical address is Beach Hall 291 Wood Road, Annapolis, MD 21402.
Is onsite parking available for guests and attendees?
Limited onsite parking (up to 50 parking spaces) is available for daytime events. Additional onsite parking (up to 75 parking spaces) is available for evening and weekend events. Due to parking limitations and security requirements, however, we recommend that you provide shuttle transportation to the Conference Center for your guests and attendees from a nearby parking lot owned and managed by the U.S. Naval Academy. Guests may park in the lot at no cost. Please refer to the Vendors page for transportation companies. All visitors are required to have a valid ID (driver’s license, passport, etc. ), and further instructions and information will be shared by your Conference Center event coordinator to make parking and arrival an easy and seamless process for your guests and attendees.
